Costa Rica is perfectly fitting for newlyweds. With delightful weather permeating the beautiful light-blue sky all year-round, Costa Rica is the destination of paradise. Newlyweds can gain and practice an essential piece of marriage from sun up to sun down without a pause of action. This essential piece — blissful romance — gets catered to by the enthralling landscape and beautiful scenery of Costa Rica. With this in mind, newlyweds can take their marriage to new heights by choosing to spend their honeymoon on an adventure in Costa Rica.

Honeymoons in Costa Rica are in for a treat of a lifetime. The countless landmarks and wonders range from electrifying volcanoes to dazzling waterfalls, rainforests, cloud forests and immaculate beaches. Speaking of beaches, newlyweds can start their adventure with a romantic, hand-held stride on beaches with gold, white, grey and black sand. Interestingly, almost every beach leads to either a myriad of extravagant hotels or fun-filled, activities, which range from white-water rafting to waterfall rappelling, canopy tours, horseback riding, nature hikes, surfing, kayaking and so much more. Simply put, Costa Rica is the land of paradise and opportunity. It provides many options for every aspect that is dear to the hearts of newlyweds and to the fabric of their honeymoon adventure.

Costa Rica’s appetite for romance has yet to be fulfilled; this explains why there are so many romantic getaways within Costa Rica. Newlyweds can slow the pace of their exciting adventure by spending a cozy, hot-stemming night in one of the many spring spas. In addition, they can take advantage of every facility and amenities that come with Costa Rica’s fine choices of all-inclusive resorts and beach towns. Without a doubt, the one fact that has held true is that Costa Rica is built to amount up to the wildest dreams that are, for the most part, deemed as implausible. While other honeymoon destinations are severely lacking in many departments like nature and adventure, Costa Rica defies the odds by having a surplus in all areas, to say the least. In fact, the areas, nature and adventure, are beyond wide-ranging and filled with romantic treasures like mind-blowing views and an atmosphere that is just as pleasant as Costa Rica’s surroundings.

Newlyweds’ honeymoon will benefit most in Costa Rica for tons of indispensable reasons. For one, the countless adventurous spots — Arenal Volcano, Manuel Antonio and Monteverde Cloud Forest — can give any marriage a thrill of a lifetime. Moreover, the shopping malls and corner stores are relatively cheap when it comes to purchasing souvenirs in general, but especially for remembrance of a honeymoon adventure in Costa Rica. Newlyweds will reap a fun, exciting and blissful experience with no regrets at all. Then again, the only regrets that may be hard to get over are leaving to soon and not exploring or visiting everything that Costa Rica has to offer. All in all, a honeymoon spent in Costa Rica for any length of time is going to be a once in a lifetime adventure that is beyond worth the time and money.

Mexico the lesser Known Adventure Holiday

So you’ve travelled every beaten track America has to offer and now you’re ready for something a little bit different. Adventure holidays come in all shapes and sizes but sometimes the adventure traveller might want to do something a little different. Don’t make the mistake of going where everyone else is going, try something new and exciting.

Yaxchilan, Mexico

What better way to start your journey than by exploring one of the most interesting archaic civilizations to leave their mark on the world. The Yaxchilan Ruins, which date back as far as 250AD, contains over 100+ structures littered throughout the landscape. Yaxchilan was once a bubbling metropolis full of Mayan culture, artwork and religion. Many buildings still contain the original hieroglyphics that were painted onto walls by Mayan priests’ centuries ago.

Swim in the Hidden Cenotes

One of Mexico’s most prominent natural sights has to be its Cenotes. Original formed by a cavern collapsing in on its self after many years of erosion from water. Coming in many different varieties possibly the most spectacular type of Cenote are those which are completely subterranean.

These underground wonders have trickles of sunlight working their way down into the dark cavern. The light bounces off the water and lights up the entire cavern in a beautiful shade of blue. The most well-known of Mexico Cenotes is the Ik Kill, located outside Yucatan, close to a Mayan ruin. Open to sunlight the vines run down the side of the Cenote as small waterfalls fall down from its opening.

The Artisans of Teotitlán del Valle

Oaxaca is home to a great many exciting crafters, using their skill and expertise to create unique and exciting items. The main trade of the artisans in Oaxaca are the weavings known as “laadi” which are beautiful hand woven. Working in traditional workshops the Artisans have become incredibly skilled at producing their wares.

Mexico has a wealth of exciting things to do and see and is often missed by the adventure traveller. With its rich history and culture it should certainly be your next destination on your travels.
